PAT MCGARR
I’m a Lead UX Researcher with over a decade of experience shaping digital products across regional and global organisations. I help teams make more confident, evidence-based decisions through a deep understanding of user behaviour.
My work sits at the intersection of insight and strategy. I use mixed-method research to go beyond what users do, focusing on why it matters, and I translate often complex, fragmented data into clear, actionable direction that teams can confidently move forward with.
Beyond individual studies, I’ve built and scaled UX Research functions across organisations, embedding research practices into product teams so that insight becomes part of everyday decision-making rather than something separate or reactive.
I work closely with Product, Design, and Engineering to ensure research is timely, grounded in real-world constraints, and directly connected to outcome, shaping both what gets built and the rationale behind it.
My focus is to make research practical and influential to teams and organisations: not just producing insight, but shifting how teams think, decide, and deliver products.
